Austen’s heroines will be centre stage
Readers may keep a special place in their hearts for Mr D’Arcy, but it’s the female characters in Jane Austen’s work who are the most memorable.
And Rebecca Vaughan has constructed a one-woman show which offers a whistlestop tour through the great author’s canon, featuring 13 of her creations and using only her words.
The show, which will be arriving at Harpenden’s Public Halls on Thursday, April 18 at 7.30pm, is billed as a bold revisiting of the most exciting moments from Austen’s work.
