Golf balls used to cause damage
Vandals have been far from sporting in Flitwick, after a number of homes and vehicles were damaged with golf balls.

Around half a dozen incidents have taken place in the Ampthill Road area, where windows, slates, guttering or cars have been damage
d with golf balls.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who thinks they know is responsible, has seen someone carrying a bag of golf balls or has other information that may help.

Police Community Support Officer Kirsty Bannon, of the Flitwick Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: "Although no-one has been hurt there is always the potential for injury, particularly if a ball goes through a window.

"Ampthill Road is a main route through the town and it's also possible that passing motorists may have seen something that may help us identify this offender."

Anyone with information can contact Flitwick Safer Neighbourhood Team, in confidence on 01234 842613, the main switchboard on 01234 841212, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.

The Safer Neighbourhood Team can also be emailed at SNT.Flitwick@bedfordshire.pnn.police.uk
