More choice for senior citizens
Community
Just because you’re over 55 doesn’t mean giving up on life and going into a home.
Luton Borough Council runs several sheltered housing schemes which they describe as ‘an exciting and modern way of living.’
They will be manning a stand at Melson Square (near Mothercare) on Monday (February 27) between 9am and 5.30pm for people interested in finding out more.
The event has been organised jointly by the council and Age Concern Luton.

Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 05:37 PMOMG have just read the above article “Just because you’re over 55 doesn’t mean giving up on life and going into a home”. What!!! At 55? Are you kidding me? I’m 53 and three quarters and there’s no way I regard myself as nearly being a “senior citizen”. Hasn’t your writer heard your 50’s is now your new 30’s? Oh dear maybe I should slow down and swop Zumba for a zimmer!
