FAMILIES with children who have autism or Aspergers Syndrome are invited to join support group FLAG – Families in Luton Autism Group.

The next event takes place from 10am to 11.30am on Monday, January 30 at Limbury Fields Community and Children’s Centre in Icknield Way, Luton.

Meetings are organised by the council’s autism spectrum team and give parents an opportunity to share their thoughts and experiences with other mums and dads. They can also benefit from advice and support offered by teachers, early year advisors and other professionals.

A different topic is discussed each time. The theme on January 30 is planning for holidays, helping parents understand what support is available.

They will also be able to learn about other services in the county.
