MOTHER-OF-THREE Angela Edwards received a standing ovation from fellow students when she collected her First Class BA (Hons) in law.

She was one of more than 1,600 attending graduation ceremonies at the University of Bedfordshire.

Angela’s marks were among the highest ever seen, in spite of the challenges of raising a family and a financial mix-up that almost made her give up.

The university, which last year won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade, is investing more than £180-million in new facilities.

A spokeswoman said: “Ninety per cent of our graduates are in work or further study.”
