Walkers can join in dawn chorus stroll
Early birds who enjoy a stroll will find much more than worms on Dunstable Downs on Sunday, May 11.

For a "dawn chorus walk" is in store at the beauty spot, led by the Luton and South Beds RSPB group.

It's all starting at 4.30am, and it will go on for about two hours.

The bird experts will be giving the walkers a chance to listen to, learn about and see feathered friends on their travels.

And the trek will wind up at the Chilterns Gateway Centre, where breakfast will be served by the National Trust.

It's all free, but places are limited. You can book a place by calling Debbie Vidler at Groundwork Luton and South Bedfordshire, which is backing the event, at 01582 345313.

Click here to email Debbie or visit Groundwork online at www.groundwork.org.uk.

Today's Vote

Should worldwide tours of the Olympic flame be abandoned to stop giving protestors an easy target
Yes, it's a pointless stunt anyway and would not be missed
No, you can't give in to bully tactics from any quarter
Bring on more protests, they are more entertaining than the sport
