Drama group raises curtain on special event
An Elvis-themed coffee morning went ahead in Dunstable on Saturday,3rd May.

Three Elvises were on hand to serve refreshments at the event, at the Methodist Church Hall, off Ashton Square.

The Square Drama Circle staged the coffee morning to raise cash for maintenance work for the stage at the church hall.

Elvis music was playing during the event, and visitors enjoyed tea, coffee and cake.

It was a great chance to spread the word about the drama group's next show, too, a comedy called It's Now Or Never, which includes an Elvis character.

Lots of people dropped in for a cuppa, and £150 was raised. The group sold tickets for the show, as well.

For tickets and details about the show, call the box office on 01582 700875.
