JJB optimistic about prospects
A nationwide fitness chain has said more than 40 jobs will be created in Dunstable when its new leisure complex opens.
Work is progressing at the JJB fitness club in the White Lion Retail Park, which is expected to open next month.
The company this week said the business is on schedule to open on June 30.
Plans to open the new fitness club, which will include a gym and a swimming pool, have been unaffected by a string of shop closures announced by the firm last month.
Ian Forrester, marketing manager at JJB, said: "We are excited about opening in Dunstable. It will be a beautiful club."
