Five of Dunstable's family doctors' practices are set to move to a single location

The location of a controversial proposed new medical centre in Dunstable - and how people will get to it - remained the hot topics of debate at a public meeting in the town.

Five town GPs want to move to the new centre, off Brewers Hill Road, because they say it will help them provide modern services in a brand new setting.

Almost 130 people went along to the meeting, in Queensbury School, with major concerns expressed about the quality of public transport.

Read the Wednesday, July 16 edition of the Dunstable Gazette for a full report.

Today's Vote

Should worldwide tours of the Olympic flame be abandoned to stop giving protestors an easy target
Yes, it's a pointless stunt anyway and would not be missed
No, you can't give in to bully tactics from any quarter
