Good causes hope to recruit helping hand
Anyone who has a talent for working with children have been urged to have a go at helping local charities over the coming months.

A number of good causes in the Dunstable area are on the lookout for volunteers, including the Families United Network (FUN) and Kidsout.

FUN provides support for disabled youngsters and their families, and hopes to recruit people to lend a hand to play leaders.

Kidsout is hoping to attract volunteers to help out at roadshows held once a week during the summer holidays.

To find out more about the vacancies, or to find out more about other opportunities, contact Lucy, Rebecca or Janet at the Volunteer Centre South Bedfordshire on 01525 850559.

Today's Vote

Should worldwide tours of the Olympic flame be abandoned to stop giving protestors an easy target
Yes, it's a pointless stunt anyway and would not be missed
No, you can't give in to bully tactics from any quarter
