Work ongoing during massive motorway- widening project

Bridge work will lead to overnight lane closures on the M1 in the Luton area.

Between 10pm on Friday, August 29, and 5am on Saturday lanes three and two southbound will be closed between junction 11 and junction 10.

All traffic will be diverted off the exit slip at J10 and returned to the motorway via the entry slip.

Between the same times on the northbound carriageway, lanes four, three and two will be closed. All traffic will be diverted off the exit slip at J10 and return via the entry slip.

Between 10pm on Friday, August 30, and 5am on the northbound carriageway between junctions nine and 10, lanes four, three and two will be closed, with all traffic diverted off the exit slip at J10 and returned via the entry slip.
