Officers find nine people not wearing a seatbelt
Seven motorists were found to be driving without insurance in a clampdown on road crime in Luton last week.

Also police caught nine people not wearing seatbelts in their vehicles, five without an appropriate driving licence and one person was given a ticket for speeding.

Police officers set up camp in a BP filling station in the Marsh Farm area for five days, with the Automatic Number Plate Recognition which allowed officers to check out vehicles to see if they were stolen or properly taxed and insured.

Beds Police Safer Neighbourhood Team was also on hand to give out vehicle crime reduction advice to motorists - including fitting 56 specially adapted screws for number plates to protect them from thieves.

Should worldwide tours of the Olympic flame be abandoned to stop giving protestors an easy target
Yes, it's a pointless stunt anyway and would not be missed
No, you can't give in to bully tactics from any quarter
Bring on more protests, they are more entertaining than the sport
