But family is furious that Ofsted inspectors will not make it public

A government watchdog has been blasted this week for refusing to publish a report into a shocking escape from a Houghton Regis pre-school.

Four-year-old Cory Clark hit the headlines in June after he went missing from Auntie Shirley's Nursery School and ran across a busy main road before staff even noticed he had gone.

And to make matters worse, his two-year-old brother Bailey was picked up by a stranger in a nearby front garden after following Cory out.

Schools inspector Ofsted was called in to investigate but the watchdog has refused to make its report public, saying it is "confidential".

This website has submitted a request under the Freedom Of Information Act to see the report, and we will let you know as soon as we receive it.

This week Cory and Bailey's stunned dad Daniel, 26, said: 'It's like they're trying to brush it under the carpet, I don't think they've done anything.'

For the full story buy the August 6 edition of the Dunstable Gazette newspaper, priced 40p.

Should worldwide tours of the Olympic flame be abandoned to stop giving protestors an easy target
Yes, it's a pointless stunt anyway and would not be missed
No, you can't give in to bully tactics from any quarter
Bring on more protests, they are more entertaining than the sport
