Play will be performed on rotating stage

Travels With My Aunt, from the Graham Greene story, is the latest production Dunstable Rep Theatre Club will be performing.

It's the tale of mild-mannered, retired bank manager Henry Pulling, meeting his flame haired, louche, 75-year-old aunt at his mother's funeral and embarking on a whirlwind adventure consisting of travel, money laundering, smuggling, death and surprises.

The play will be a real challenge for the Rep theatre with only four actors playing, between them, 24 characters.

Alistair Brown directs the production with a stage design including a continuously revolving stage, whisking Henry (played by all four actors), Aunt Augusta and characters including a CIA operative, an American drug-dealer, a Turkish police chief, old ladies and many other policemen, from one location to the next.

The play runs from today, May 16 to Saturday May 24 from 7.45pm at The Little Theatre, High Street South, Dunstable.

Ticket prices are - members £7.50, guests £10, juniors/students £5.

For details on how to get tickets call the Box Office on 01582 703570.

Should worldwide tours of the Olympic flame be abandoned to stop giving protestors an easy target
Yes, it's a pointless stunt anyway and would not be missed
No, you can't give in to bully tactics from any quarter
Bring on more protests, they are more entertaining than the sport
