Maypole and May Queen feature in Studham at the weekend

All sorts of fun will be around to entertain the crowds at this year's Studham May Fair.

It's all happening on Saturday, May 10, on Studham Common.

At 2pm, Charlotte Horn will be crowned May Queen, and will officially open the event.

Then there will be maypole dancing by the children of Studham School.

BBC Three Counties Radio presenter Martyn Coote will be the master of ceremonies.

A companion dog show by the Lugari Dog Club will also go ahead. This is one of the first stages in the annual Crufts dog championships.

The fair is organised by The Friends Of Studham Church, and is sponsored by Home Counties Property. Proceeds to the church restoration fund.

Today's Vote

Should worldwide tours of the Olympic flame be abandoned to stop giving protestors an easy target
Yes, it's a pointless stunt anyway and would not be missed
No, you can't give in to bully tactics from any quarter
Bring on more protests, they are more entertaining than the sport
