Haul includes goods worth thousands of pounds

Cartier and Tiffany jewellery and Gucci watches were among the valuable haul taken in a break-in at a Kensworth home.

Now police are asking jewellers, dealers and people living in Beds, Bucks and Herts to keep an eye out for the stolen items.

The break-in happened at about 9pm on Friday, November 27, at a property off Isle of Wight Lane.

Cash and goods worth tens of thousands of pounds were taken.

Det Con Allan McCarney wants traders to be on the alert for the stolen property.

He is also keen to speak to anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area that night, or saw an unfamiliar vehicle.

Anyone with information that could help is asked to call Det Con McCarney, in confidence, on 01582 473056, the main police switchboard on 01234 841212, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111. Or text 0778 6200011.
