Noise alerts householder

A group of teenage youths were disturbed while they were trying to break into a garage in Westfield Road, Dunstable, on Sunday, August 24.

The householder heard the noise, shouted at them from a window and they fled into Maidenbower Avenue.

Police said that three white boys were involved, aged 12 to 15, of skinny to average build.

They were discovered trying to break into the garage shortly before 11.45pm.

Two wore dark clothing, and the third, who appeared to be the youngest, was riding a bike. The youngest boy's clothing included a white top.

Anyone who can identify these boys, or has information which could help, is asked to contact PC Jenny Buckley, on 01234 841212 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.

Today's Vote

Should worldwide tours of the Olympic flame be abandoned to stop giving protestors an easy target
Yes, it's a pointless stunt anyway and would not be missed
No, you can't give in to bully tactics from any quarter
Bring on more protests, they are more entertaining than the sport
