No-frills airline fundraising for The Anthony Nolan Trust

England former rugby star Will Greenwood MBE has launched easyJet's new in-flight collection campaign for leukaemia charity The Anthony Nolan Trust.

From now until September 26, the Luton-based budget airline will be asking passengers to donate loose change to support the cause, for the third year running.

Already, easyJet has raised £1.3 million for the charity, saves lives by providing bone marrow donors to adults and children in need of transplants, after collecting cash last summer and in 2006.

This money has allowed the charity to recruit about 18,000 new lifesaving donors to the bone marrow register.

Currently 16,000 patients worldwide are searching for a suitable donor.

As an independent charity The Anthony Nolan Trust continues to rely on the financial support of companies like easyJet to continue their lifesaving work.

A proportion of the money raised will be given to other bone marrow registers in Europe.

Today's Vote

Should worldwide tours of the Olympic flame be abandoned to stop giving protestors an easy target
Yes, it's a pointless stunt anyway and would not be missed
No, you can't give in to bully tactics from any quarter
Bring on more protests, they are more entertaining than the sport
