A local model needs your votes to win the Top Model of Colour UK competition.

Adunni Haruna, 27, is competing to win a modelling contract and prizes including designer jewellery and luxury hair products.

Luton resident Adunni travels round the country to model and recently modelled on the HMS Trimcomalee for London Fashion Week.

Adunni said: “To be in Top Model of Colour means a lot as it is the largest competition in the world for models of colour. Previous winners have gone to to be international supermodels.”

Adunni, who is currently putting her portfolio together, has the support of some of the previous winners including Janita Francis and Nana Afua.

She said: “Being part of TMC gives me a chance to showcase my modelling talent, as well as to work with distinguished individuals in the world of fashion including renowned photographers, make-up artists and designers.”

Voting lines are now open for the public to send their favourites to the final on December 1.
