A whole new world of taste in Luton

Jimmy's World Bar & Grill

Jimmy's World Bar & Grill

A NEW restaurant opened at The Mall in Luton on Wednesday and two Luton News reporters went to try the new dining experience for themselves.

Jimmy’s World Grill and Bar, as the name suggests, offers food from all around the world including Chinese, Mexican, Italian, Japaense and Indian.

Customers can eat as much as they like, and chefs are on hand to cook your meal in front of you.

Marketing manager Amandeep Uppal said: “We’re delighted to be launching at The Mall Luton and look forward to establishing Jimmy’s Wolrd Grill as the place to go for a real feast!”

Reporters Connie Primmer and Steve Nolan sampled the lunchtime buffet, which included sushi, pizza, curry, spring rolls, fajitas, ice cream and a chocolate fountain.

Mr Nolan said: “I thought it was very nice, the staff were friendly, there was plenty of choice in terms of what to eat and drink and it was pretty reasonably priced.”

The Mall marketing manager Lavinia Douglass said: “Jimmy’s World Grill is set to be a hub for food lovers in Luton, with its broad range of multicultural dishes and all you can eat menu. Jimmy’s World Grill further enhances The Mall’s strong food offering, joining the nation’s favourite carvery and pub, Toby Carvery and Costa Coffee, which have both recently opened in our £20million St George’s Square development.”

went to jimmy's today Friday with 8 people one reason for going there was the advert stating world grill. they did Chinese , Mexican.,Italian , Japaense, and Indian . It is a shame that all all round the world grill dose not INCLUDE BRITISH food. 6 of the group tried the food provided and left most of it as it was not cooked to the way it should have been. The other 2 of the party who went in only to eat BRITISH mixed grill could not have anything to eat. When we asked the manager about this the answer was was they did not want to do BRITISH FOOD as it was not part of the world wide food. I believe this is wrong and they should also provide british food along side all the others
