Rollercoaster ride for X Factor group

Boyband Triple J are at the centre of a sensational twist in X Factor this week.

The group, featuring former Putteridge High School student Jaymi Hensley, were heartbroken when they missed out on a place in the ‘judges’ houses’ stage of the competition on Sunday.

However, previews of next week’s show suggest they will be making a dramatic return to the show, as they are called in to replace trio Rough Copy who had to be dropped due to visa issues.

Triple J will be renamed Union J because they add an extra member after being axed from the show.

The judges’ houses show will air on Saturday and Sunday on ITV 1.
