Show some love for your local library

IT’S time to love your library as National Libraries Day takes place tomorrow.

There are lots of ways to unleash your inner bookworm, from taking part in special events, to joining a new library, or even just borrowing a new book to enjoy.

At Leagrave Library in Marsh Road, children aged 5-9 and their parents and carers are invited to go wild about books to celebrate the day, with a free drop-in event from 11-11.45am.

At Luton Central Library in St George’s Square, there are some tall tales for children and a chance to create mini-books from 2-2.45pm.

Tech-savvy readers can tweet their library support by using hash-tag #NLD12 and writing ‘I love my library because...’

You can also visit the NLD12 Facebook page or upload a fun picture of you and your library to Flickr.
