STAFF at a Luton solicitors firm ditched the diets for the day on Friday as they held a charity bake sale to raise funds for a local baby care unit.
Pictons Solicitors raised money for the Little Lives Appeal. The Bake Off is one of the most popular fundraising activities for its staff, and everyone either bakes something delicious and sells it to colleagues and visitors or enjoys the fruits of their labour.
From the most tempting cupcakes, to a sumptuous chocolate gateau, a classic Victoria sponge, doughnuts and cheesecakes, it certainly wasn’t a day to diet. 100 staff participated from Pictons’ four branches in Luton, Milton Keynes, Hemel Hempstead and Tring.
Pictons, which has a strong company policy to support local communities and related charities, has also raised funds for the L&D NICU appeal and Keech Hospice, among many others.
Sukh Saini, joint managing partner at Pictons and head of the family law department, said: “We are very committed as a company to supporting local causes, through sponsorships and fundraising.”
