TV Egghead CJ’s backing benefit gig for Crescent

Former quiz show fixture CJ de Mooi makes an appearance on the bill of a Friday night concert in aid of a threatened HIV charity.

The event has been organised by members of the Herts Chamber Ensemble, and a barbershop group and a saxophone quartet will also be lending their talents to the cause.

The concert at St Saviour’s Church in Sandpit Lane, St Albans, will raise cash for The Crescent, which provides support for people living with HIV – CJ, best known for his regular appearances on daytime quiz Eggheads, is a patron of the centre.
