Zombie bride is best dressed

A zombie bride won the best dressed girl competition at Buckinghamshire Railway Centre on Saturday.

Indy Downing, from Stopsley, was crowned the winner for her ‘Dead Bride’ outfit which was put together with the help of her Grandmother.

The eight-year-old goes to Putteridge Primary School in Luton, and was chosen as the best-dressed by judges witch, wizard, werewolf and vampire, assisted by the day’s station master.

The event was the first of two Hallowe’en events and was attended by around 900 visitors.

Every child who entered the Fancy Dress Competition was awarded a small prize for their efforts.
