Computers seized by detectives
Two more homes have been raided by detectives in a county-wide crackdown on child pornography.

Computers were seized from addresses in Luton and Woburn as part of the ongoing Operation Strident.

The raids follow hot on the heels of 11 similar warrants in Houghton Regis, Harlington, Luton and homes across the county.

More than 25 computers are being examined by the high-tech crime unit.

Following the raids on Wednesday, Det Con Ian Hendley of the Beds Police Online Investigation Team said: "We are always keen to remind people that there are many law enforcement agencies around the globe that are proactively targeting those who misuse the internet.

"In our eyes, each indecent image of a child that we find shows a child in the process of being abused."

Today's Vote

Should worldwide tours of the Olympic flame be abandoned to stop giving protestors an easy target
Yes, it's a pointless stunt anyway and would not be missed
No, you can't give in to bully tactics from any quarter
Bring on more protests, they are more entertaining than the sport
