A huge variety of entertainment will take place at Grove House Gardens, Dunstable, to celebrate British Armed Forces Day on Saturday, July 11.

Throughout the day there will be live music, refreshments, displays and a huge marquee filled with members from various veterans' associations.

The Mayor of Dunstable Councillor Patricia Russell will officially open the proceedings at 12 noon.

Among those performing on the day will be the Harpenden Pipe Band, the Dunstable Town Band and the Vauxhall Male Voice Choir.

There will be static gun displays, vintage Army Land Rovers on show and a chance to speak to staff at an Army recruitment stand.

The event, which has been organised by the Luton and District Combined Ex-Services Association, will run until 4pm.
