Luton passengers can spend Santa season in the sun
Low-fares airline flyMonarch will be increasing services on 18 of its routes over the Christmas and New Year period, with service changes taking effect between December 22 and January 2.

The airline says the move, which involve flights to Malaga, Tenerife, Lanzarote and others, are in response to "staggering" customer demand.

Passengers flying from Luton will be offered more flights to Alicante, Gibraltar, Tenerife and Malaga, while Manchester fliers will be able to pick from Faro, Malaga and Tenerife.

Increased services will operate from Birmingham to Alicante, Faro, Malaga, Murcia and Tenerife, while Gatwick will host more flyMonarch flights to the same destinations as well as Lanzarote.

Liz Savage, managing director of flyMonarch, said: "We have seen overwhelming demand for seats over the festive period and as a result have introduced these extra services meaning even more people can enjoy low-fare flights this Christmas and New Year."

FlyMonarch, which operates out of Birmingham, Gatwick, Luton and Manchester, offers services to Larnaca in Cyprus as well as its routes to the Iberian region.
