Two men charged with burglary


Police have charged two men with burglary after more than £40,000 of stolen goods were discovered in a car parked in a burglary hotspot in Luton.

Lee Speer, 32, of East Street, London, and Adam Fowler, 29, of Alvey Street, London, were arrested in Mount Pleasant Road on Friday (June 19) after a car was found containing a quantity of stolen watches and jewellery.

The pair have both been bailed and are due to appear at Luton Magistrates Court on Monday, June 29.
