A teenager from Houghton Regis was robbed at knifepoint in a Luton street.

The 18-year-old victim was walking in the subway in Stopsley Way at about 1.30am on July 16, when two men kept asking him for a cigarette. He continued to walk along but one of the men threatened him with a knife.

The thieves pushed the victim and searched him for valuables while holding the blade against his stomach.

They stole a gold chain worth £1,000, a British passport, a provisional driving licence, a black Prada wallet, national insurance card and Barclays debit card.

Beds Police are looking for two black men. The first is described as about 5ft 10ins, aged 18 to 21, medium build with short-shaved black hair. He was wearing black Adidas tracksuit bottoms, white T-shirt, black hooded sports top and black trainers.

The second thief was about 6ft 5ins, about 21, of slim build, with black short-shaved hair on top and sides with a shaved line running around the back of his head.

He was wearing a yellow and blue horizontal striped T-shirt, blue jeans and black slip-on shoes.

Under the corner of his left eye was a black teardrop design, about three or four millimetres long. He wore a chunky gold chain over his T-shirt.
