He's not even an MP yet, but the young Tory hoping to win the Luton North seat at the next election is already being tipped as a future Chancellor Of The Exchequer.
Jeremy Brier, 27, features in this month's edition of society magazine
Tatler, in a who's who of young Conservatives hoping to steal a march on Labour when voters next go to the polls.
The barrister was given a makeover and put into a designer suit for the photoshoot, and is described as an 'accomplished cook' who is 'tipped as a future Chancellor Of The Exchequer'.
Despite the plaudits, Jeremy, whose girlfriend Louisa Clein is a television actress who has appeared in Judge John Deed and Casualty, said he had his reservations about the feature.
'I think Tatler probably doesn't have a huge readership in Luton, but I've never read it before so I've got that in common with people. Obviously it's very flattering being tipped as a future chancellor but given the current economic climate I think it would be a rather difficult job.'
And does he worry that Luton voters will think his image is too glamorous to win their vote? 'That's the danger,' he said. 'But I don't think it would be a fair reflection on things.'
