Trio request personal hearings

One of the two charges brought against six agents regarding transfer dealings at Luton Town has been dropped by the FA.

Sky Andrew, Mike Berry, Mark Curtis, Stephen Denos, David Menasseh and Andrew Mills have all been cleared of the charge of 'failing to ensure that payments to them were made and disclosed through the proper channels'.

It was alleged that, following the transfer of players, the agents in question were paid by the club's holding company, Jayten Limited, and not the club itself.

All six agents pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was issued seven months ago.

The other charges relate to the ability of each agent to represent the club during transfer negotiations.

The FA are continuing with their investigations into the charge that the agents did not have the proper 'representation contracts'.

The trio of Denos, Manasseh and Berry have admitted the charge but Andrew, Mills and Curtis have denied it and have all requested personal hearings from the FA.
