All rounder Roberts returns to county side
Bedfordshire all rounder Andy Roberts will return to the side for this weekend's Minor Counties Championship Eastern Division fixture with Cambridgeshire at Bedford Modern School.

The leg-spinner will take his place in a side full of confidence following a narrow four-run victory over Cumberland a fortnight ago.

The Cambridgeshire encounter is the county's third of six three-day outings and another win will see James Knott's side right in the mix at the top of the table.

Richard Howitt also returns to the team after injury and there are also places for Brad Matthews and Northnats Academy youngster Dan Bendon.

The team is a follows: James Knott (captain), Jon Walford, Shaun Rashid, Richard Howitt, Marcus Steed, David Willey, Dan Bendon, Paul Wilkinson, Cameron Wake, Andy Roberts, Brad Matthews.
