Rovers and Blues draw their seasons to a close

It's out with the old and in with the new at Dunstable Town after it was announced that Pete Burgoyne will be the club's new chairman, taking over from the departing Roger Dance.

Dance has quit after four years at Creasey Park and hands over a club significantly more stable than when he took the reins in 2004.

On the field, Blues rounded off their disappointing BGB Southern League Division One Midlands campaign with a 1-0 defeat at home to Chesham United on Saturday.

Elsewhere, ex-Luton Town hitman Tony Thorpe scored a hat-trick for Barton Rovers as they earned a thrilling 4-3 win at Stourbridge on the final day. Frazer Toms was also on target although the win doesn't hide the fact that there is much improving to be done at Sharpenhoe Road if Rovers want to mount a serious push for promotion next term.

Yes, it's a pointless stunt anyway and would not be missed
No, you can't give in to bully tactics from any quarter
