Harford wants an answer from Emanuel

Decision day is looming for Luton Town left-back Lewis Emanuel.

With the Hatters set to start their pre-season training today, Luton Town manager Mick Harford wants to know if the 25-year-old left-sided player will commit to the Hatters for next term.

He said: "I would like to re-engage Lewis as part of our squad. He was unfortunate with injuries last season.

"I'm sure his agent and Lewis have other irons in the fire, but I would like to get him sorted out by the time we start pre-season training on Wednesday.

"I need a definite from Lewis – as in is he going to commit to us?"

Harford also revealed that Burton Albion have not yet followed up their initial enquiry about veteran defender Ian Roper and they have turned down the chance to sign former Hatter Chris Willmott.
