Luton Pakistanis prove too strong for AKCC

Defending champions Luton Pakistanis proved too strong for AKCC in their Luton & District Midweek League clash as they claimed a comfortable six-wicket win.

Dallow got the better of Shaheen as they came away with an 18-run victory.

In Division One, Luton Majestic eased to a convincing 41-run triumph against AKXI, while Pakistani Crescent, chasing 142 for victory, thumped Houghton Town by an emphatic nine wickets.

The Division Two encounter between Luton Hatters and Sixth Form College went the way of the former who, after bowling out College for 59, won by 33 runs. Saracens had little trouble downing Elite CC, reaching their small target of 68 for the loss of four wickets with more than four overs to spare.

Today's Vote

Should worldwide tours of the Olympic flame be abandoned to stop giving protestors an easy target
Yes, it's a pointless stunt anyway and would not be missed
No, you can't give in to bully tactics from any quarter
Bring on more protests, they are more entertaining than the sport
