Johnstone's Paint Trophy round-up
Luton fans continue to pour into England from all over the globe in anticipation of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final on Sunday.

Some supporters are jetting in from far-flung destinations such as Australia and New Zealand, while others are making the trip from slightly closer to home, albeit with a very difficult journey.

Dr David Welsh is driving all the way from the lochside village of Ardrishaig in Scotland, some 489 miles away from Wembley Stadium.

Welsh, who attended Barton Primary School and Dunstable Grammar, has been a Luton supporter since he was a boy and will be accompanied on the trip by sons Jonathan and Thomas, who are also based in Scotland.

The game against Scunthorpe will be the first match the family have attended this season.

Do you know a supporter who is driving further than this to see Luton's Wembley appearance? Get in contact by emailing editorial@lutonnews.co.uk.

Last chance to win Johnstone's Paint final tickets

Johnstone's Decorating Centre on Selbourne Road, Luton, is giving Luton Town fans the opportunity to score two pairs of tickets for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final between Luton Town and Scunthorpe United at Wembey on Sunday.

Visitors to the decorating centre will be automatically entered into the prize draw with every purchase made today.

Gina Laycock, decorating centre marketing manager for Johnstone's, said: "Pop into the store, make a purchase and who knows – it could be you cheering on your side on Sunday."

Bell pub regulars are all set for Wembley trip

The Bell pub in Edlesborough is running a coach to this Sunday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy final between Luton Town and Scunthorpe United at Wembley.

Breakfast is being served from 8am with the coach due to depart at 10.30am.

Seats, which cost £10, are still available and anyone who would like to book a seat should go to the pub with their money, making sure they have their match ticket first.

Iron pass 12,000 ticket sale mark

Luton Town's Johnstone's Paint Trophy final opponents Scunthorpe United will be cheered on by more than 12,000 supporters at Wembley on Sunday.

However, the Iron faithful will be dwarved by the Luton support with around 40,000 tickets being sold for the big day.

Wembly tickets are under control

Ticket distribution for Town's Johnstone's Paint Trophy final against Scunthorpe United on Sunday is under control according to director Stephen Browne.

Speaking on Monday, he said: "All orders received here before Friday close of business have been dispatched.

"The only ones we have are the internet orders placed on Sunday and today.

"There are some single tickets left at the moment, but that's it."
