New backing will provide invaluable equipment
Luton Town's youth development department has been given a boost after securing a new four-figure sum sponsorship deal from First4VauxhallFirst4Ford.

The new backing will enable the club to purchase new video and analysis equipment to assess player performance, and should hopefully ensure the continued progress of players from the youth set-up into the first team squad.

Hatters' youth development officer Gregg Broughton said: "This is fantastic news for everyone associated with the youth set-up.

"Match analysis is vital for the coaching staff and players to be able to assess and therefore improve their performance.

"This sponsorship from First4VauxhallFirst4Ford is invaluable in helping us to purchase equipment for our young players."

Jason Woolnough, who is the managing director of First4VauxhallFirst4Ford, added: "As a local company, and personally as a season-ticket holder at Kenilworth Road, I am proud to be associated with the youth development programme.

"They do a fantastic job and, whether players make the grade or not, it's wonderful for the kids to get the taste of a professional outfit and learn from their brilliant coaches.

"We were impressed with the dedication of everyone involved, so we are very happy that we are playing our part in the work being done with youngsters from the area."
