Craig Andrews named boys U16 player of the year


Luton Town Hockey Club celebrated a great junior season with an awards ceremony.

Player of the year accolades were handed out along with players' player awards, while five junior club awards for outstanding commitment or improvement were also dished out.

Assistant junior leaders Bryn Owen, Maxine Bailey and Lauren Ritchie all received special mentions, while club chairman Iain Starkey presented the junior club awards.

The junior season starts again on Sunday, September 7, at Lea Manor Recreation Centre. For further details contact Tricia 07711 511729.
