Midfielder could be set for move to Memorial Stadium

Former Hatters midfielder Richard Langley impressed for Bristol Rovers during a trial game, despite limping off midway through the first half.

Langley, who left Kenilworth Road in the summer, appeared for Rovers in their 3-0 defeat by Cardiff City at the Memorial Stadium.

The 28-year-old has attracted the interest of a number of clubs including Hereford and Cheltenham and Rovers boss Paul Trollope feels he could be worth a punt.

He said: "He (Langley) gave a good little cameo appearance and it's something we may look at again in the future.

"He has proven quality, he's played a lot of international games and he needs a chance somewhere.

"He has strained his hamstring but we may well look at things again when he is fit."

Today's Vote

Should worldwide tours of the Olympic flame be abandoned to stop giving protestors an easy target
Yes, it's a pointless stunt anyway and would not be missed
No, you can't give in to bully tactics from any quarter
