Youth football round-up
Hightown Hotspur FC lifted the U15 Christian Youth League Cup on Saturday by defeating local rivals St Mary's 2-0.
In a tense game St Mary's had several good chances with skilful striker Thobruz Zaman coming closest, but having waltzed past two defenders he saw his shot bounce back off the bar.
With seven minutes to go Rob Turner burst forward and, unchallenged, he unleashed a well placed strike into the top right hand corner.
Hightown added a second late on after a mistake by the keeper saw Grant Dudley's long range shot squirm into the net.
The win clinches the double for Hightown, who also won the league by two points.
Sadly Square had a disappointing day in their league cup finals.
Their U12s lost 2-0 to Covenant and Square United U18s went down 4-3 to HFC Rangers, despite a Darren Custance brace and a goal from Otto Da-Lbanga.

In Division One of the Filmergraphics League there was a convincing 5-0 victory for Dunstable Town Youth over AFC Kempston, Liam Barker, Nathan Davies, Ryan Smith, Joe Ward and Oliver Richardson getting the goals.
Dunstable's U13 didn't fare so well in Division Three of the Chiltern Youth League as they lost 5-1 to Brickhill Wanderers, Jordan Beagarie getting their only goal.
There was better news for Dunstable's U16s who beat Ampthill 5-0 in Division One. Jack Magill scored twice alongside strikes from John Gillians, David Cain and Charlie Gosling.
St Joseph's U12s, meanwhile, triumphed 6-3 against Aylesbury Athletic in Division Two thanks to an Arel Amu hat-trick, a Fabian Daniels brace and a goal from Callum Sword-Kelly.
Luton Schools' U12s, meanwhile, were in stunning form at the Isle of Wight Festival, winning all six of their games as they returned with the cup.
Playing against teams from Southampton, Sheffield, Bristol and the Isle of Wight, Luton did not concede a goal on their way to winning the trophy. In the final they romped to 4-0 victory against Cowes with Bradley Johnson, David Isaacs and Jerome Lowe all on target.
