Peterborough press link defender with Kenilworth Road move

Hatters manager Mick Harford has distanced himself from a move for Peterborough United's French defender Claude Gnakpa.

Reports had linked Luton with a move for the 24-year-old, whose one-year deal runs out in the summer.

Scottish Premier League side Aberdeen and Championship strugglers Sheffield Wednesday have also been connected with the defender.

However, Harford dismissed the news that he was set to join the Hatters.
He said: "I've seen him play lots of times. He is a good player. We are just scouting and watching games.

"He played against our reserves. There are a lot of players that impress."
