Hatters set to benefit from striker's move
Promising Hatters youngster Dave Moli has been signed by Premier League giants Liverpool in a deal worth a six-figure sum to the Town.
The U15 striker has penned a three year contract at Anfield in a deal that could eventually be worth far more to the Hatters.
Youth development officer Gregg Broughton said: "Although we never like to lose talented footballers from Luton Town, it is also important that as long as it is right for the football club that we don't stand in the way of a young player's development.
"The football club will receive a significant amount of compensation for Dave up front, and importantly, will receive further amounts if Dave progresses at Liverpool or another club.
"Liverpool's Academy have put their faith in Dave by offering him a three-and-a-half year contract and the opportunity to work under the tutelage of David Moss and Kenny Dalglish.
"We have so many talented youngsters within our youth system at the moment that Dave Moli is just the tip of the iceberg.
