The best of the week's angling action

Beckerings Reservoir has seen a few small carp being caught along with some bream and tench.

Dave Brosnan netted four pike with the best weighing in at 14lb.
On North House, there has been a bit more action with Marcus Barwell snaring an 18lb 8oz mirror and Ivan Sayer reeling in a superb 29lb 1oz common.

The water level on the South Lagoon has dropped over the past week and the pike have responded to the better water conditions.

Nigel Long had three fish at 14lb 8oz, 9lb 4oz and 6lb, while Mark Simmonds had a triple catch at 13lb 6oz, 12lb and 11lb as well as a 7lb 7oz zander.

Luton AC match, Section 5: 1, I Orbell, 6lb 1oz; 2, P Currell Jr, 5lb 8oz; 3, R Quick, 5lb 6oz.
