Southern League unveil fixtures


Barton Rovers open their pre-season campaign with a trip to Metropolitan Police Bushey this Saturday, kick-off 3pm.

Gary Fitzgerald's side then entertain Hitchin Town on Thursday, July 24, kick-off 7.45pm, before two further home games, Potters Bar Town on Saturday, July 26, and Enfield Town on Saturday, August 2, both 3pm kick-offs.

A trip to Ware follows on Tuesday, August 5, kick-off 7.45pm before Rovers round off their preparations for the new BGB Southern League Division One Midlands season when they welcome Bedford Town to Sharpenhoe Road on Saturday, August 9, kick-off 3pm.

Meanwhile, Barton have been given a home draw against Langford in the first round of the Beds Senior Cup. The match will be played on Tuesday, November 25 and the winners will visit Arlesey Town in the quarter-finals.
