How the Hatters rated
Conrad Logan: 6 – One important stop from Blundell, but sometimes absent at crosses. No chance with the goals.

Claude Gnakpa: 8.5 – Rampaging form in the first half, capped by a splendid headed goal. Tough tackling when switched to defence.

Keith Keane: 8 – Captain's example, with some exocet tackling, and drove the team forward from midfield.

Garreth O'Connor: 6 - Subdued down the left and never got in a cross. Eventually replaced by Pugh.

Harry Worley: 6.5 – Looked in control and was confident enough to carry the ball forward.

Asa Hall: 6.5 – Not his most effective game in a more advanced role, but still came closest to scoring, hitting the bar.

Ed Asafu-Adjaye: 6.5 – Linked well with Gnakpa down the right before making way for Charles in a tactical switch.

Rossi Jarvis: 7- Involved throughout and delivered a superb free-kick for the equaliser. Less effective when switched to the win.

Chris Martin: 6 – Found it hard in the lone striker role, but worked hard without success.

Michael Spillane: 6 - Despite the defeat, not seriously troubled at the heart of the defence but will be kicking himself for missing a gold scoring opportunity.

Jake Howells: 9 – Mature performance from the youngsters, getting forward at every opportunity, using the ball well and putting in some timely tackles.

Marc Pugh (sub): 7 – Put in some telling runs and crosses and looked as if he might provide a winning opening, but it wasn't to be.

Ryan Charles (sub): 6 - Gave some much needed assistance to Martin but rarely looked able to break through.
