Richard Gottfried clinched his 10th top 10 finish of the season at the Kent Open in Margate.
In the final event of the 2009 campaign, Gottfried secured a creditable eighth spot in poor conditions.
On the Strokes Adventure Course, Gottfried recorded rounds of 44, 41 and 36 for a 54-hole total of 13-over-par 121, 13 shots behind the eventual winner, London's Nick Chitty.
Following the event, Lutonian Gottfried said: "Despite the terrible weather I managed to put together some good rounds.
"Last year I was 13th here so to get eighth place and another top 10 finish is great."
The 2010 BMGA season starts in January with the BMGA National Open which will be held at Star City in Birmingham.
