Double winners finish season with crushing victory

Chiltern Junior Sevens U9 Division One champions Barton Rovers A finished the season in fine style as they cruised to a 5-1 victory against Sacred Heart.

Sam McClelland, Jack Keenan, Scott Lucas, George Goodall and Niall Palmer were on target for Rovers who ended their league and cup double campaign with an undefeated record.

Crawley Green Lions secured the U8 Division One title, and a league and cup double, after their 2-0 victory against Eaton Bray Lions.
A Jayden Reid penalty and a Niall Kateley strike secured the necessary points at the weekend for Crawley.

Crawley Green U10 B clinched the Division One title with a 5-0 drubbing of Barton Rovers with all the goals coming in the second half courtesy of a Jamie Small hat-trick and singles from Christian Everitt and Aye Ombo.

Square Rangers claimed the South Beds Saturday League U13 League Cup with a narrow 3-2 victory against Barton Rovers A.

A Johnny Clarke brace and a single strike from Joe Evans put Square 3-0 up inside the opening 12 minutes and although Rovers hit back with goals from Josh Linney and Chinedu Ononye, they held on to wrap up a league and cup double.

Crawley Green A booked their spot in the Chiltern Youth League U11 League Cup final with a comfortable 4-1 victory against Bedford Town.
Crawley will face AFC Dunstable in the final where victory will see them complete the double to complement the league title which they clinched last week.

In the cup final, Charlie Black, Sead Davtovic (2) and Lucas Perry were on the scoresheet for Crawley who triumphed after the clash, which was locked at 1-1 in normal time, had needed an additonal period to separate the sides.

Luton Allstars shared the points with St Martins in U15s Division Two. Roydell Neufville and Dominic Perrett scored for the Allstars in the 2-2 draw.

A Louis Dowling hat-trick helped Dunstable Town Youth U14s to a 4-2 victory against Barnfield Colts in Division Two, Jack Porter netting Dunstable's fourth.

Dunstable Town Youth U13s edged past SKF 4-3 in Division Three thanks to a brace apiece from Oliver England and Callum McCloud.
Luke Hodges netted Dunstable Town Youth U12s' consolation as they went down 2-1 to Ampthill Town in Division Three.

In U14 Division Three, Dunstable Town Icknield B edged past SKF 3-2, Martyn Dunne, Zak Pacewicz and Ryan Duffy on target.

St Joseph's U12s thumped their Crawley Green counterparts in Division Two. Arel Amu starred as he netted four times and he was assisted by Fabien Daniels, Callum Sword-Kelly and Daniel Higley.

Luton Irish U18s had little trouble disposing of Renhold Youth in Division Two. Daniel Lavin, James Haughney, Courtney Massey, Desi Maden and Matthew Coffey all found the target in the rout.

The local derby between AFC Dunstable and Dunstable Town Youth in Filmergraphics Mini League U9 Division One went the way of the latter who had goals from Nathan Davies (2), Ryan Smith (2), Blake Garner and Oliver Richardson to thank for their 6-2 victory.

In the same division, Dunstable Town Icknield beat Leighton United by the odd goal in three with goals from Jack Thompson and Connor Rimell.
Icknield U10s trounced Bedford Park Rangers 5-2 in Division One. Troy Ottah led the way with a hat-trick while Jack Kelly weighed in with a brace.

Square United secured the Christian Youth League U18 league title with a 2-0 defeat of Square Rangers.

Striker Darren Custance, with his 52nd goal of the season, and Jamie Copperwheat scored for United who will attempt to win the double when they face HFC Rangers in the CYFL Cup final this Saturday.

Square U12s are also in CYFL Cup final action against rivals Covenant.
Meanwhile, Dunstable Town Youth U16s were beaten 2-1 by Leighton United after extra time in the County Cup final. David O'Brien scored for Dunstable but it proved to be mere consolation.
