Attempted murder: Two men face charges at crown court today

Two men facing charges relating to the attempted murder of a man in Newport Pagnell will appear at Aylesbury Crown Court this morning.

Kieran Fowler, 23, of Radnor Road, Luton, was charged with one count of attempted murder and one count of Section 18 wounding with intent.

Alan Fowler, 48, of Lollard Close, Luton, was charged with one count of Section 18 wounding with intent.

The charges relate to an incident in Rowditch Furlong, Redhouse Park, Newport Pagnell, in which a 42-year-old man sustained life-threatening head injuries.

The victim was put into an induced coma after being transported to John Radcliffe Hospital by air ambulance at around 8am last Sunday morning.
