A young Luton law graduate has ditched the idea of a safe job in the profession to strike out on his own.

Richard Gore, 22, of Marsh Farm is the brains behind Make it Happen.

The former Lea Manor High pupil explained: “It’s a friendly business network which will meet regularly.

“Anyone with entrepreneurial aspirations or who’s running a business can talk face-to-face with possible customers and/or exchange ideas and experiences.”

It’s already gaining recognition with a healthy number of paying members looking to raise their profiles.

Richard, who comes from a one-parent family, said: “My mum gave me the confidence to believe in myself. She’s been really important in my life and continues to support me.”

His ambition is to develop his network into a nation-wide chain where young people can discuss business concepts, learn from each other and reach a wider customer base by participating in Make it Happen events.
His role model and inspiration is Dragon James Caan.
